It was until 1916 when the road by Congosto del Ventamillo (a deep canyon) was finished you’d spend a whole day by feet to get out from Benasque, not strange they call it the hidden valley.
In the hearth of the Spanish Pyrenees bordering with France the Benasque valley rises vertical and untamed. Its trails, formerly used to take livestock to pastures, go over 2000mts over the sea level and go down by alpine hillsides with red loam, narrow steep singletracks and deep green woods.

Get any flight arriving the night before or before 10am to Madrid Barajas Airport and meet your transfer for a 5,5 hour drive to rural apartment in Benasque.
Warm up with a short 3 hour ride around Castejón de Sos and enjoy our tour briefing while you enjoy dinner.
We’ll use the shuttles to go over 2000 mts. To make some of Spain’s most powerful and varied descends. But don’t get it wrong, not climbing doesn’t mean less demanding! At the end of the day your arms and tights will be crying to cool down.
Gear will suffer its toll also. It’s highly reccommendable that in case of bringing your bike you perform a full maintenance, with new brake pads and bring with you some spare parts like a hanger. Also bring protection for your knees and elbows and a good hydration backpack.
Let’s take it “easy” and shuttle twice to be back for lunch and be able to pack and go back home.
We’ll enjoy a couple of fun, varied descends and will finish with a good glass (or two) of cold beer!
Riders will stay at Linsoles rural apartments fully equipped for 5/6 people with one bathroom.
The accommodation has a pool (open in summer) and a room/workshop for bicycles locked and protected. Bikes are NOT allowed in the apartments.
Half pension includes breakfast and dinner for two days.
